Finally finished the surf green esquire, it plays and sounds great.Everything went together as advertised. The biggest problem for me was finding someone with a table router or a cnc machine to do the template route (all my luthier friends were not up to it with their little trim routers and the cnc guys up in Phoenix said “how many 100 -200-1000?. I found the best bet is a cabinet shop for the route. This type of project always comes down to having access to the right tools for sure. An appropriate drill press, a good set of wood chisels and an ACE hardware down the street and you’re home free. The E manual is well thought out and easy to follow. Good design. The only thing I would personally do different is use another type of wood ,this one is pine and got a little dinged up when installing the components (hence the relic finish) .Thanks again and hope this may be helpful for anyone wanting to go on a bender.
